Our Primary Mission is to assist individuals in obtaining FCC-issued Amateur Radio and Commercial Radio Operator licenses.
The W5YI Organization consists of three separate companies, W5YI Group, W5YI-VEC and National Radio Examiners.
In Observance of July 4th, Independence Day, the
offices of W5YI Group, W5YI-VEC and National Radio Examiners will be closed on Friday, July 3rd and re-open Monday July 6th.. We wish everyone a festive and safe Holiday weekend !

| The W5YI Group distributes Amateur Radio and Commercial Radio Operator license study materials and preparation aids. Our "Study with the Best" line of Gordon West books and audio study materials are highly praised by amateurs world wide. |
| The W5YI-VEC sponsors and conducts Amateur Radio Operator examinations at hundreds of locations throughout the United States and in several foreign countries. We also handle Amateur Radio license renewals, address changes, duplicate license. The W5YI-VEC was one of the first
to be appointed by the FCC and has been servicing the amateur community for over 25 years. |
| National Radio Examiners sponsors and administers FCC Commercial Radio Operator license examinations for GROL, GMDSS, and MROP throughout the United States. These licenses are required in the Aviation and Marine maintenance-repair industry by the FCC and US Coast Guard. |
