VE Manual : 4.2 Section 2 (Filled out by the VEs)
The VE team uses this section to indicate the applicant's new class of amateur operator license for which the applicant is now qualified. It is VERY IMPORTANT that the VE team properly complete this section since it is where the team authorizes the successful completion of examinations.

License for which applicant is qualified
Check the appropriate box "TECHNICIAN", "GENERAL", or "AMATEUR EXTRA" depending upon the elements the applicant either passed by exam or for which credit was proven. If the examinee did not qualify for a new or upgraded license, check the box "NO NEW LICENSE OR UPGRADE WAS EARNED." The following are the requirements for each class of amateur license.
